Installation

The Ziit JetBrains IDEs extension is available on:

You can also install it directly in your JetBrains IDE:

  1. Open Settings/Preferences (File > Settings or JetBrains IDE > Preferences)
  2. Go to Plugins
  3. Search for "Ziit" in the Marketplace tab
  4. Click Install and restart the IDE

Setup

Install the Ziit extension from the JetBrains Marketplace as described above.

Configure Your Ziit Instance

Info

Only change this if you are self-hosting your own Ziit instnace.

  1. Open Settings/Preferences
  2. Navigate to Tools > Ziit Configuration
  3. Enter your Ziit instance URL in the "Instance URL" field

Set Your API Key

  1. Open Settings/Preferences
  2. Navigate to Tools > Ziit Configuration
  3. Paste your API key in the "API Key" field

Note

Keep your API key secure. You can find your API key in your Ziit profile settings.

Start Coding

Begin coding, and your time will be tracked automatically!
